Wilfried Bony becomes most ‘expensive’ African player in history with his £28m move to Man City

Wilfried Bony moved from Swansea city to Manchester City in a deal that worth up to 28 million pounds, making him one of the expensive African footballers in history.
The Ivorian international signed a four and a half-year deal with City, that would keep him at Etihad Stadium until 2019.
“It’s a great feeling for me, it’s a big honour to be here and it’s a great challenge,” he said on signing with the Manchester based club.
Bony, who was the Premier League top scorer in 2014, would wear the number 14 shirt.
