Aggrieved supporters of the former Minister of State for Defence and Lagos State Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) governorship aspirant, Senator Musiliu Obanikoro, on Thursday, walked peacefully around Lagos metropolis.
They were protesting what they described as travesty and political manipulation that favoured the candidacy of Mr Jimi Agbaje as the standard-bearer of the party in 2015 election.
The supporters, numbering over 500, carried placards with different inscriptions, urging President Goodluck Jonathan and the PDP national chairman, Alhaji Adamu Mu”azu, to cancel the result and order a rerun.
They described the PDP governorship primaries held on Monday as “immoral” called on both the president and Alhaji Mu’azu to consider officers above board and upright while fixing a date for a rerun.
